While we were waiting for the doctor in the lobby, we could see other patients' LASIK operations because the operating room has totally glass walls. We sipped Dove hot chocolate (courtesy drinks hurhur) and watched the little TV screen on the wall that shows the patient's eyeball zoomed in. First, the camera moves all around the person's face, and when it finally zeroes in on an eyeball, the screen shows this weird "filling up" animation where it looks like the eye is slowly becoming more and more foggy from the bottom up. I also got to see (from afar) the eye clamps that fix the person's eyelids open throughout the procedure. They look kind of funny. ಠ_ಠ
I wonder if I should try doing LASIK, as well. It would be nice to not have to wear glasses anymore! I'm still really scared about the pain during or after the procedure, though... and going to see what the machines and stuff looked like today sort of just made me even more scared. We'll see, I guess...

Anyway, afterwards we went to buy roasted ducks and asian snacks from a Chinese store. Everyone's getting ready to eat and serving the duck, now... so I must go.
Bye!
